A Journey to Unity
The Good Shepherd Catholic Community was officially established as one parish in the year 2006, bringing together these four beloved worship sites into a single faith community. This unification was part of a diocesan-wide effort to strengthen and sustain vibrant Catholic life in rural areas. Each church retains its unique character and history, but together they embody the spirit of collaboration, unity, and shared mission.
The decision to unite was guided by the belief that together, the parish could better serve the spiritual, educational, and pastoral needs of its members. By pooling resources and talents, the Good Shepherd Catholic Community has grown stronger, offering a rich array of liturgical celebrations, faith formation programs, and opportunities for outreach and fellowship.
A Unified Mission
Today, the Good Shepherd Catholic Community is dedicated to living out the teachings of Christ by fostering love, service, and a sense of belonging. We are one family in faith, united in our commitment to worship God, serve others, and build His kingdom here on earth.
No matter which of our worship sites you visit, you will find a warm welcome, a rich sense of history, and a community grounded in faith. We are stronger together, and we invite you to join us in our shared journey of faith.
