St. Bernard’s School of Theology on the Road:

The Poetic Mysticism of the Song of Songs

The bride and the bridegroom are a quintessential emblem of the Church and Christ and also of the individual believer and the beloved Son. In this lecture, Dr. Hughes Huff will talk about how ancient Hebrew poetry uniquely reveals the mystical element of Scripture, as seen in the writing of Christian mystical thinkers Origen, Therese of Lisieux, and Bernard of Clairvaux.
The talk will be given on Wednesday May 24th in Nacca Hall at St. Francis Church in Auburn from 3 to 4:30 PM and again from 6 to 7:30 PM. The talk is free and open to the public.
We thank the Everest Foundation for Family Enrichment for funding this talk.

Do you feel alone? Are you frustrated or angry with each other? Do you argue or have you stopped talking to each other? Does talking only make it worse? Are you going in circles at counseling?
