Retirement Party

Cathy Kanalley will be retiring at the end of January after many years serving our parish and other parishes in our diocese. We will be having an Open House Reception for Cathy on Sunday, February 2nd at St. Patrick Church Hall in Moravia from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. to give parishioners a chance to stop by and thank Cathy for the many ways she has served you and your families through the years.

I personally thank Cathy for her dedication in overseeing the church office and for her patience and support in helping  me over the past five and a half years that I have served as your pastor.  Cathy has helped to make my job easier in the time I have served with her at Good Shepherd Catholic Community.  I wish Cathy and her husband John the best as she makes this transition.   I hope many of you can attend the  Open House Reception for Cathy , if you cannot  I encourage you to express your appreciation and gratitude to Cathy for her loving service through the years.

New Parish Office Hours

With Cathy’s retirement we are reorganizing the parish office.  Beginning the Week of February 3rd, the Parish Office Hours will be Monday , Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00a.m. - 4:00 p.m.   Robin Driskel  has been hired  and will begin working January 21 with Cathy until January 30th and will then be working in the office on Mon.-Tues– Thurs..  I welcome Robin  as she begins to serve our parish.  Lorraine Fitch will be continuing to be the bulletin editor and manage the cemeteries.  As we make this transition I ask for your prayers  and continued support.  God’s blessings and peace,
