Good Shepherd Catholic Community Photo Directory Q&A’s

As I mentioned in this column last week our parish has entered into partnership with Lifetouch Directories and Portraits to create a new parish directory.

Posted by Fr. Bill on August 15, 2015

I have been here at Good Shepherd for a little over a year now and I must confess I have a hard time linking up the faces I see each week with the names on the parish roster.  I am probably not the only one who has this difficulty.  Do you ever see people in church and wonder what their names are? Have you ever heard an announcement regarding a member and wished you could put a face with a name? Are you a new member and wish you had something to help you put names with faces?  A new parish pictorial directory can help us make those connections.  The process is quick and efficient for your family to have your photo in our new directory. You simply sign up, show up at the appointed time, and in a short time you are on your way. Each family that participates will receive a free 8” X 10” finished photograph, and a free parish directory, and the directory is being produced at no cost to the parish!   I encourage you all to take advantage of this opportunity.  We hope to have as many families and individuals represented as possible.

How do you schedule your photo time?

A link to Lifetouch is being setup on our parish web-site and Facebook page.  You click on the link and follow the directions to schedule your own appointment.

If you do not have access to a computer.. Watch for weekend sign-ups at church, or call your site coordinator for a time

When are the photographs being taken? Here are locations, days, dates, and times:

St. Michael, Union Springs:  on Wednesday, September 30 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Yes!  During your session the photographer will take many different poses of your family. At your session you will be able to view your images electronically.  You select the one for the directory Then you have the opportunity to purchase additional portraits to share with family & friends.
