Advent/Christmas Season Schedule

As we begin the Season of Advent I want to share with you following schedule of Masses and times for the Sacrament of Penance that take place during the Advent/Christmas Season. You might want to put it on your refrigerator for reference or better yet share it with your relatives or neighbors.

Feast of the Immaculate Conception Masses are:
Wednesday December 7th                                          
5:00 p.m. St. Michael, Union Springs                          
 Thursday December 8th                                                                           
9:00 a.m. St. Patrick, Aurora                                                                           
7:00 p.m. Our Lady of the Lake, King Ferry

Sacrament of Penance
5:30 p.m. St. Patrick, Moravia
St. Michael Church, Union Springs    Dec. 3, 10 & 17 from 3:00p.m. – 3:45p.m.
St. Patrick Church, Aurora                 Dec. 3, 10 & 17 from 6:30p.m. – 7:30p.m.
St. Patrick Church, Moravia                  Every Sunday from 8:00a.m. – 8:20a.m. (the usual time) and Dec. 20 from 6:00p.m. -7:30 p.m.
Our Lady of the Lake, King Ferry    Dec. 2 from 8:00a.m. – 8:45a.m. (the usual First Friday time) and Dec. 6 & Dec. 13 from 6:30 – 7:30p.m.

Our Christmas Liturgies Are As Follows:
Christmas Eve, December 24th                                      
    5:30 p.m. St. Patrick’s, Moravia                                
    6:00 p.m. Our Lady of the Lake, King Ferry       
    10:00 p.m. St. Patrick, Aurora                           
Christmas Day, December 25th         
    9:00 a.m. St. Michael, Union Springs

This year with Christmas falling on a Sunday some of the Feasts of the Christmas season will not be celebrated on Sundays.
The Feast of the Holy Family will be celebrated on Friday, Dec. 30. Mass for the Feast Day will be at 9:00 a.m. at St. Patrick, Aurora.

Feast of Mary Our Mother this year falls on a Sunday.  The Mass schedule for the Feast Day will be the regular Sunday Mass Schedule.

Saturday, December 31st, New Year’s Eve                   
    4:00 p.m. St. Michael, Union Springs                          
    10:30 a.m., Our Lady of the Lake, King Ferry
Sunday, January 1, New Year’s Day                                                             
    8:30 a.m., St. Patrick, Moravia
    12:15 p.m., St. Patrick, Aurora

Feast of the Epiphany Masses are as follows: On the weekend of January 7/8

Saturday, January 7                                              
    4:00 p.m. St. Michael, Union Springs                         
    10:30 a.m., Our Lady of the Lake, King Ferry
Sunday, January 8                                                             
    8:30 a.m., St. Patrick, Moravia    
    12:15 p.m., St. Patrick, Aurora

The Christmas Season concludes with the Baptism of the Lord on Monday, January 9, Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., at St. Patrick, Aurora
