We are Roman Catholic community of faith and service. At Good Shepherd Catholic Community, each and every parishioner is a valued and treasured member of our parish family. Worshipers from the communities of Southern Cayuga County gather at the altar each week at one of our three worship sites. We, who make up this parish family, invest our resources of time, talent, and treasure and join together so that this Catholic Community shines as an example of Christ's Love, Care, and Truth for all. The majority of our parishioners live and work in Cayuga County, but families and individuals from all over the Fingerlakes Region have joined in our worship.

We welcome people from all walks of life; all who have faith in Jesus Christ, and who seek to know and live his Gospel more deeply. We especially strive to be a welcoming community for people who have been alienated or marginalized by societal prejudices and misinformation. In our lives we are constantly searching. Jesus recognizes that we are looking for answers and invites us to follow him. Whether you are married to a Catholic and raising your children in the Catholic Church or have attended a service with a friend or loved one and would like to explore this faith tradition more deeply, you are welcome. Whether it is our Catholic social teaching, an experience of the liturgy, or the rich history and spirituality of the Catholic Church that is of interest to you, Jesus invites you to come and see where he is staying.
